The Lovely Little Letterpress.

I finally got a Chicago #11 letterpress after much searching and saving. This little guy came to me all the way from Pekin Indiana, which by the way is as Mayberry as Mayberry can be. I stopped and got a Chocolate shake from an actual malt shop with a soda fountain. The only thing that would have made it better is if the man behind the counter was wearing one of those paper hats.
Nevertheless, here is a picture of my new little gem. I had originally went to pick up a Sigwalt ideal Daisy press, but fell in love with this one. Eric and I, my B.F.F and business partner are hoping to have a huge selection of stationary and prints in the next few weeks. I have already posted some on Etsy, and I am pretty happy with them. I am currently looking for a new Chase for the letterpress, as using foam backed tape will inevitably make the chase iron less than desirable in no time. But, I have several letterpress experts I have recently befriended, and they are looking around for me. So here it is in all its glory:

A Sunday Morning Synopsis...

As you may have noticed, some drastic changes have taken place here! This is the new home for what's new and exciting at both my Ebay and Etsy storefronts. With that being said, this is no longer the mixed media blog of what I am making, and what my drunk redneck neighbors are doing across the street. Sorry.
So don't mind the mess, the blog is still under construction, and may be unavailable here and there over the next few weeks. With that being said, let me know if the Bombshell header at the top of my blog is centered. :o)  I should be posting my newest creations within the next week or so. I am not currently selling any of my handmade items on ebay, as I have over 15 auctions consisting of closet and garage finds that I must get rid of. After those have ended, I will be back to selling the normal fare. Anyhow, The Etsy store should be filled by the end of next week, so be sure to check it out at: TheAtomicBombshell.etsy.com
